New England- Advance tickets for the 2017 New England Dressage Association (NEDA) Fall Symposium featuring Olympic Gold and Silver medalist Carl Hester MBE are going on sale to NEDA members on May 31, 2017. This once-in-a-lifetime event will take place October 14-15 at Pineland Farms Equestrian Center in New Gloucester, Maine.
As it will be Carl's only U.S. East Coast appearance in 2017 and seating is limited, tickets are expected to sell fast, so make sure your NEDA membership is up to date! Tickets for non-NEDA members will go on sale July 1 if seats are still available.
Carl is a five-time Olympic veteran, most notably a member of the British Dressage Team at the 2012 London Olympic Games aboard Uthopia, where the team won the nation's first-ever Gold medal in Dressage. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Carl and Nip Tuck were an integral part of the British winning the Team Silver medal. He was also the trainer of the other three team members, including Charlotte Dujardin and the world-famous, Valegro.
The focus of the 'Fall Symposium with Carl Hester' will be the progression of training through the levels from young horse to the Grand Prix. Across the two-day event, auditors will view horses work under the direction of Carl. Demonstration riders and their horses will be highlighted in six, 45-60 minute sessions. Most sessions will have two horses in the ring simultaneously, allowing Carl to compare different horses with respect to gaits and training methods.
