Come join us back in Indiana where we all cheered on the soldiers who qualified for their CAA proficiency in 2010. Hoosier Horse Park, home of the Indiana CDE for 24 years, is a quiet, picturesque park consisting of miles of trails and wide-open spaces. You’ll be able to drive many of the routes the CDE competitors do as well as dabble in seven hazards, two of which are water. We’ll have areas to work on the flat and drive several cones courses-maybe even a derby-as well as a ring for the Pooch Parade, private lessons or dressage figures.
You’ll be close to stalls, tent/office, parking and camping; no more long-distance travel back to the camper or trailer. No admission charges, no traffic and no extra horse fees, just low rates and lots of fun.
Off-campus activities include an outlet mall, Little Nashville, the Brown County Art Colony and Indianapolis, just minutes away. The Taylorsville and Franklin exits off I-65 afford many fine restaurants and hotels, several pet-friendly.
If you’ve never visited Hoosier Horse Park, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. Ask anyone who has been there and they’ll tell you it has a lot to offer and should not be missed just because of a few extra miles. Did we mention you’ll save money? Make your plans to join us in Indiana. You won’t regret it.
The National Drive appreciates the support of participants, vendors, and sponsors and looks forward to continuing the driving (and riding) tradition.
