Murphy & Clark Join ProMotion Management Staff

Byars, Oklahoma -  Nelle Murphy and Linda Clark have joined the staff of ProMotion Management.

ProMotion Management, owned by Jeff and Cheryl Magoteaux of Byars, Oklahoma, is the largest company of its kind in the western equine world, providing media and publicity services for a client list that includes the National Reining Horse Association, the National Reining Breeders Classic, the National Reined Cow Horse Association and other equine organizations. ProMotion Management also produces Stock Horse News, the National Reined Cow Horse Association's official publication, as well as serving as an ad agency for a list of other prestigious clients.

Murphy, 27, is a graduate of Fresno State University with a degree in Agricultural Business. She was the 1998 National Reining Horse Association Non Pro Futurity Champion and in 2001, she won the National Reined Cow Horse Association World Championship Snaffle Bit Futurity Non Pro Reserve Championship. She is also a six-time American Quarter Horse Association World Champion.

"We're thrilled to have both Nelle and Linda on board," commented Jeff Magoteaux. "Nelle will divide her time between our Oklahoma office and her home in Brentwood, California. Besides working in advertising sales, she will be on site for us at various reining and reined cow horse events."

Linda Clark, a graduate of East Central University with a degree in Business/Office Technology, was involved the administration of the Women's Professional Rodeo Association national office, as well as being assistant editor of the Women's Pro Rodeo News for several years. A circuit finals qualifier in barrel racing, she is a former Prairie Circuit Director for the WPRA. Linda and husband, Doug, a PRCA/AQHA horse trainer and competitor, have one daughter, Darcy (10), who is the 2002 Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Princess.

Magoteaux continued, "Linda will be an asset to our team. She will work out of our Oklahoma office and assist at major events, as well. Her experience with both publishing and association management will be an asset to our client base."
