Feeling The Love! On June 26 while on an annual 4 wheeler trek through the hills and hollers of southern Kentucky something went very wrong, and my ATV flipped as we were on the home stretch of a 40 mile ride. I may never know what happened, and while my injuries were severe, I am blessed. Everything will heal, although it has been and continues to be a painful process.

But what I would have never known had it not been for this accident, is the love of the equestrian world, my friends and family whose prayers, thought, cards, and messages are helping me heal. My husband JJ and sister Nancy have been by my side, and I know how hard the effects of an accident are to those close to you. The medical care I received at University of Louisville Trauma Center and Frasier Rehab was incredible. I experienced people whose lives are dedicated to caring and healing. Our "team" here at PHE.Inc has taken away all worries and concerns by managing the websites and all aspects of the business. I think a little break from the "Boss Mare" was empowering not only for them but me, as all I have to do is focus on the job at hand of getting better.

I am a living testimonial for all the therapy products we have featured and reported on. A care package from Draper gave me a blanket and shirt made with fibers which radiate healing energy. My "Right Spot" Pad has been sending healing infrared heat into my broken bones. My Back On Track mattress cover keeps me comfortable in my rented hospital bed even after the meds begin to wear off. A special shipment of Equisano from Dr. Hausman is giving me the nourishment needed to accelerate nutrients helping my bones to heal. My Doctor told me upon my release my recovery has been "remarkable". At the age of 59 he said I am healing faster then many high school athletes he treats.

But the best remedy of all has been from all of you who have been reading this newsletter and sending me your energy and prayers. I am so grateful to this world I live in and the opportunity to continue this life. Through [#26523 override="Markel" title="Markel"], the company I work for I have incredible insurance, and know I am very blessed not to have that concern. Please think of donating to the Equestrian Aid Foundation which helps those of us who are not as fortunate as I am. I will be easing back into work as my body continues to catch up to my brain, buzzing with ideas and stories to share. I am home now, cuddling my corgis, and working on rehab, and watching way too much TV.

Thank you everyone, and thank you God. Life is a wonderful thing!
