Kreuth - On the last day of the NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) European Futurity, the day opened with the last of the full-slate ancillary classes offered.

Prior to the European Open Futurity finals, three champions were crowned. Taking home the win in the NRHA Rookie Level 2 with a 213.5 was Maria Theresa Ottilinger from Germany and her Magnum Brut (Magnum Chic Dream x Rosalina Chex).

“This horse is simply great! Today he was with me all the time and I’m really really happy. My trainer is Vern Sapergia and I want to thank him for everything he does for me,” says Ottilinger. “My next goal will be the Breeders Derby here in Germany since my horse is 8-years-old now.”

The podium was all in the family as Maria Theresa’s sister, Carolin Ottilinger, rode her Smart Like My Daddy (Smart Like Juice x Jacks My Sugar Daddy) to a 208 score and second place.

Luciano Den Hertog from The Netherlands and Gumps Smooth Step BB (Little Gump x Wimpys Pearl) closed their run with a 205.5 and third place honors.
