Drums, PA - November 6, 2014 - When Olympic equestrian Margie Engle travels across the country and the world competing at the highest level of the show jumping sport, there is at least one thing that she does not leave home without: her Equine Couture breeches.

After her first introduction to Equine Couture by fellow grand prix rider, Debbie Stephens, the breeches quickly became Engle's go-to choice for every ride. Now, Equine Couture is thrilled to welcome Engle to the brand's team of professional ambassadors.

Engle's name is well-known in equestrian households, and she brings to the Equine Couture team an impressive resume that includes over 200 grand prix wins, 20 Nations Cup victories, Pan-American Games gold, silver and bronze medals and a World Equestrian Games silver medal, among countless other accomplishments.

"We're thrilled to have Margie Engle as a brand ambassador for Equine Couture," said company president and CEO Timmy Sharma. "It is always important for us to see that riders of her caliber stand behind our brand, and we look forward to having her input continue to improve our products."

When in the show ring, Engle's breeches of choice are the Equine Couture Stars & Stripes Knee Patch Breeches.

"The knee patch really helps, especially if it's raining out or if you're in a saddle that's a little slippery or new. It really helps with the grip," Engle said. "They're lightweight and very comfortable. They're stretchy so they fit nicely, and they seem to form fit everybody."
