Amateur rider Marcia Pepper and her KWPN gelding Graciola (Flamingo x Duc de Normandie) won the Adult Amateur section of Prix Saint Georges (61.75%) at Dressage at Equestrian Estates.<
"Riding can be the most gratifying thing I've ever done, and it can also be a source of frustration," said the former living stage and comedy actress. Now married and a mother of one, Pepper spends her winters in Florida training with Catherine Bateson at Romance Farms. She has been competing in dressage since 1996 and says that "I rode as a kid and then when I lived in New York City I rode at Claremont."
Pepper has achieved the minimum qualifying scores for Devon and hopes to compete there in the fall. Only the 34 best scores will qualify.
