Lee Pearson wins CPEDI***

Hartpury Festival of Dressage started with the CPEDI***.

After 3 highly successful days for the Great British Para-Dressage team, the Para-Dressage competition was brought to a close with yet more success for GB across the board.

Paralympic gold medallists, Lee Pearson riding his horse Gentleman took the Individual Grade 1b Championship, Simon Laurens on Ocean Diamond won the Grade III Championship and Grade 1a went to Sophie Christiansen on Lambrusco III. Jo Pitt on Estralita and Sophie Wells riding Pinocchio also claimed their titles in Grade II and IV respectively. All five horses will now head off to Norway for the Para Equestrian Dressage Championships on the 20th to the 24th August to defend their title together with Emma Sheardown on Purdey’s Dream.

Sophie Christiansen landed the Supreme Individual Championship with 232 points – just ahead of Lee Pearson with 231 points. (Decided by the accumulated team, individual and freestyle tests).
