Le Grand Complet – Haras du Pin - FEI Eventing World Cup

CIC3*-W Grand Prix FEI Eventing World Cup: 4 Australias at the 4 first places!

All the Oceania dominated the first test of this last FEI Eventing World Cup leg. No more than 4 Australians at the 4 first places! Leading this "dream team", we find Sam Griffiths riding his 10 year old gelding Real Dancer, followed by his team mate Clayton Fredericks...only 0,1 point behind! Clayton ranked his 2 horses at the 2nd and 3rd places, ex aequo with Chris Burton (AUS)!

Mark Todd (NZL) closes this famous quintet with NZB Campino. Two French riders follow with less than 2 points more: Eddy Sans and Gilles Pons (6th and 7th). "My horse is really good at dressage test" explained Sam Griffiths, "it's really cool to see so many Australian riders at the top of this World Cup Class. The cross-country seems nice and hard but we expected that here".  Next test for the FEI Eventing World Cup: the cross-country on Saturday afternoon at 2:pm (GMT+1). Live broadcast on Internet

CIC* Grand Prix Conseil Général de l'Orne: Sophie Caron (FRA) From End to End

She was 1st at dressage test, got no penalty on the show jumping test, and finally ended the cross-country without any penalty...even if she started at 19th rank on 114 starters. "It's my first international victory" she said, "I've finished 11th in Arville/BEL this year, and 8th here in Le Pin last year. " The French 27 year old rider, who is horse riding instructor, beat another French rider, Jean-Lou Bigot, the former European Champion (1993).  Jodie McGregor (GBR) obtained the 3rd place riding Spot On XII.
