Wellington, FL - The FEI Prix St George is definitely the test of choice for Katharina Stumpf and Nymphenburgs Love, who had two wins and third-place over the February 6-9 AGDF 5 in Wellington, and earned The Horse of Course High Score Award as an early valentine for their 'steamy' 73.026% performance in Friday's Test of Choice. “It was very hot, but he likes it that way,” said the Austrian Grand Prix rider, who is in southern Florida for the winter circuit with her sister, Gabriella, and campaigning four horses. Stumpf, of Vienna, has the unique distinction of having been the first international – and first amateur – competitor to enter the arena when AGDF debuted in 2012.{C}{C}

“We've been showing a lot,” she said about taking advantage of the warm weather to compete in internationally-rated CDI and USEF-rated National classes. She and her nine year-old Oldenburg (Carry Gold x Sinja) gelding, originally bred by Helmut and Evelyn Schumacher, have been competing together for just under two years. “He has such a sweet character. You just have to love him!”

“High scores are easiest when a rider and horse enjoy working together, which was obvious with Katharina and her horse. We congratulate their 73% score. Their best test was truly their test of choice!” said The Horse of Course, Inc. CEO, Beth Haist. One of the most highly regarded dressage attire and saddle outfitters in Florida and the south, The Horse of Course has been presenting High Score Awards for three seasons as part of one of the world's largest international and national dressage circuits.
“We're on our fifth show. We've been having a wonderful time with great people and,” Stumpf added happily, “fantastic prizes!” The High Score Award winner received an embroidered saddle pad courtesy of The Horse of Course.
