Karen Pavicic has recently announced her intent to exercise the option to represent Croatia in the sport of Dressage, eyeing the opportunity to compete individually in the World Equestrian Games and the Olympics. “The start of 2018 brings more changes and new opportunities for me. With dual citizenship for Canada and Croatia, I find myself in the unique situation to be able to help develop the sport of Dressage both at home and abroad. After much reflection and consideration, I will be changing my sport nationality to Croatian, thereby supporting the FEI initiative of having more flags represented. I am still and always will be a proud Canadian. My goal to continue to compete Internationally is unwavering and I look forward to representing Croatia at future FEI Championships.”

Karen is an elite athlete who has represented Canada many times internationally including riding on its team at the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France. To learn more about Karen - visit her Facebook page or Karen Pavicic Dressage.
