Jocelyn Wiese - Student, Dressage Rider, Trainer

For Jocelyn Wiese, high expectations are the norm. Her sure-footed success proves the value of a life filled with riding. Jocelyn manages to balance roles of student, rider, trainer, instructor and competitor with humble grace. Jocelyn’s victory in the 2009 Brentina Cup with her stellar mount Lamborghini was a stepping stone. “Winning the USEF “Young Adult” Brentina Cup demonstrated that I was able to step out of the young rider ranks and keep my head above water at the Grand Prix. It provided me with valuable experience at the Grand Prix level that has let me move on and compete in the open Grand Prix classes.” After a year competing in the Grand Prix divisions with Lamborghini, a talented young horse waiting in the wings, and experience as an assistant trainer at Hilltop Farm, and as a working student for Pam Goodrich, Weise is poised for a future in dressage that goes beyond the arena she has become comfortable showing in. And this all the while being a full time student in pre law.
Recognized for her talent, achievements, and foundation in the sport, Rene Isler has contributed to the support of another rising star in American Dressage sport.
