Wellington, FL – ShowChic will once again be hosting one of the best in the business when renown dressage rider and coach Todd Flettrich headlines their July 8th ShopTalk, held at their Wellington, Florida location. From being an Olympic contender to coaching some of the best riders in the world to international success, Flettrich is a veteran of the competition arena and sought after trainer and mentor. Don’t miss your chance to get up close and personal with Flettrich while socializing with fellow equestrians and browsing the latest in riding fashion. In 2012, Fettrich and Margaret Duprey’s Danish warmblood Otto (Rambo x Rampal) qualified as an alternate for the US Olympic Dressage team following their performance at the USEF Festival of Champions in Gladstone, New Jersey. In 2010 he and Otto represented the United States at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky, and was invited to compete at the CHIO Aachen that same year. He also represented the United States at the CHIO Aachen two times. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Flettrich began his dressage career at a young age and won Individual Gold and team Silver in the 1991 North American Junior/Young Rider Championships(NAJYRC). He is also a USDF Silver and Gold Medalist and graduated from the USDF ‘L’ Judge program.
In addition to riding against the best of the world, he has helped other riders achieve success. A much sought after coach and mentor, he guided multiple young riders to Individual Gold Medals at the NAJYRC and is still in very high demand with riders competing on the international stage. His insights into the world of international competition will no doubt be of interest with the upcoming Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France.
