Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year. 2018 will mark our 21st year on line, making us the oldest website in equestrian sport. We will be on hold for a few more days in posting new news, as we all enjoy the holidays and migration to Florida for the winter season.
We have some exciting updates, and upgrades in the works as we continue our commitment to sharing news, photos, videos, and items we know you enjoy. 2018 marks The World Equestrian Games, Tryon 2018, our 30th year covering Aachen CHIO, and new shows, venues and adventures already filling up the calendar.
Thank you for following us, here and on our social media pages. A special Thank You to my core team, Tracey Scharf, Liz Ruggiero and Kate McIntyre. Thanks also to Plan Left for all the great work you have done, and welcome BitSource.com our new programming team.
A special thank you to Markel Insurance for all your support and recognizing our contribution to equestrian sport. We appreciate all who have entrusted us with protecting you, your horses, farms, and business. We continue to grow and thrive, and put that back into our efforts here on these pages. We are almost always available to help with your insurance questions and needs. Many of the answers are already here in the insurance section of this website.
To our advertisers, and Horsemarket clients and buyers we appreciate all the years you have worked with us, and followed our pages daily for quality horses, for quality buyers, sold by quality people. Our commitment to you will bring new added features as we share your horses with our world of followers in 2018.
In 1996 there was this new thing called the internet. I knew it wasn't just a fad, and I needed to jump on board. Someday I will tell all the stories that went along with this adventure, before the days of Facebook and Google. I launched Jan 1, 1997, and we are still here.
Enjoy your families and animals and the time you have before we begin a new year jam packed with adventures, stories to tell, people to meet, and places to go.
