HRTV, The Network For Horse Sports, will further expand its scope of producing live webcasts of premier events when it presents streaming coverage of the North American Junior & Young Riders' Championship (NAJYRC) from the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY beginning on Thursday, July 19th. HRTV will present a live streaming webcast from the Rolex Stadium and the Alltech Arena via www.hrtv.com starting Thursday at 8:00 a.m. ET. Four highlight shows will also be produced and air on HRTV soon - keep an eye on the schedule for dates and times!
Conducted by the United States Equestrian Federation, the NAJYRC is the premier equestrian competition in North America for junior and young riders, ranging from ages 14-21. Young equestrians come from the U.S., Bermuda, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean Islands, to vie for team and individual FEI medals in the three Olympic equestrian disciplines of show jumping, dressage, eventing and the FEI World Equestrian Games disciplines of reining and endurance.
"HRTV is pleased to present live streaming coverage of an outstanding event for young equestrian hopefuls," said Scott Daruty, President of HRTV. "With the Summer Olympics quickly approaching, this competition will give viewers a unique glimpse of some possible future Olympians." In fact, Reed Kessler, who is representing the United States in showjumping at the age of 18, competed in the NAJYRC merely four years ago.
