Horses Changing Owners To Meet January Deadline for Olympic Games

Lalla Amina has given the ride on Floresco to the Dutch Moroccan rider Yessin Rahmouni. Rahmouni rode for The Netherlands, but recently changed nationality. Now Rahmouni aims to qualify the bay licensed stallion for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Rahmouni commented: "I am so grateful, unbelievable. The first moment I immediately had the wow-feeling on this horse. Patrik Kittel did a wonderful job, I had no single problem to take over!" Yessin Rahmouni already competes in Grand Prix with his other horse Only Society. Together with Anky van Grunsven he is giving lessons in the Ukraïn.

On Top Sold to Quzandria Nur

Leida Collins-Strijk has sold her Grand Prix horse On Top (by Jet Set D) to the Malaysian rider Quzandria Nur. The bay gelding, which recently competed successfully at the CDI Oldenburg, is moving to Anky van Grunsven's stable, where it will be trained.

Nur also has an upcoming Grand Prix horse, the Danish warmblood Handsome, with which she competed at small tour level at the 2010 Asian Games. Quzandria Nur is Malaysia's first Dressage Grand Prix rider. She has represented the country in numerous international events in both Showjumping and Dressage. At the 1998 Asian Games she was part of Dressage team which won the Silver Medal. She rode in the Gold Medal winning Dressage team in the 2001 South East Asian Games. Individually Quzandria took the Silver medal in the 2001 KL SEA Games behind her brother Qabil. She was part of the Silver Medal team at the 2006 Doha Asian Games and more recently was part the of the Dressage team which won the Gold Medal at t
