Today a big crowd enjoyed Swedish finest in the Nürnberger WDM Grand Prix presented by Axel Johnson Group. Tinne Vilhelmson (SWE) aboard Don Auriello gave herself the best birthday present possible, the win. The 11-year-old Don Auriello, owned by Lövsta Stuteri, and Tinne were a true example of good harmony. Tinne started her test very well controlled and balanced. Everything in the test went smoothly, energetic, thinking forward and with a good speed control, which was nicely demonstrated in the half-passes in trot, extensions and transitions. The walk was energetic, followed by a really balanced canter in a good uphill tendency. The winning percentage was 76,468%. "I was very pleased with the feeling Don Auriello gave me today and we are still developing", TInne said after her test. "Specially the good balance and speed control I was very happy with."
Second place was for Patrik Kittel (SWE) riding Watermill Scandic, they got 73,638%. Watermill Scandic was in a good shape, sometimes he had a little tension, but his piaffe and passage were outstanding. Patrik had a little mistake in the one time tempi changes and the right pirouette. "I improved so much and it felt that I could do a 8 or a 9 for the serie, but I pushed him to hard with my outside leg and that cost me marks"
Third was Minna Telde (SWE) with Santana, the black stallion was very expressive through the whole test, but could be more engaged sometimes. The combination got 72,468%.

As a try-out the Grand Prix tests have comments of international para equestrian judge Ineke Jansen from the Netherlands.
Unfortunately the day started with some bad news. Ellen Schulten Baumer (GER) had to drop out because of a small injury of her horse Grosso's Gentle. Also Painted Black the stallion that won WDM Falsterbo a few year´s ago under its former rider Anky van Grunsven, didn't pass the re-inspection and was excluded from the starting list.
