Gustavo Prato and Carna Z Take $7,000 Open Stakes During ESP Fall I at PBIEC

Wellington, FL - Gustavo Prato of Wellington, FL, and Carna Z rose to the occasion in the $7,000 Open Stakes Class during ESP Fall I at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) to kick-off the 2016 ESP Fall Series. The duo mastered the jump-off track in 51.844 seconds to capture the win in the class. Alvaro Lozada of South West Ranches, FL, and Armageddon took second place with a time of 53.143 seconds, while Nicole Loochtan of Hawthorne Woods, IL, and Quarterman secured third place honors with a time of 54.828 seconds.

The ESP Fall Series will continue through Sunday, November 20, featuring hunter, equitation, and show jumping competition.

Nicole Loochtan of Hawthorne Woods, IL, and her own Memory Lane rode to victory in the $2,500 Low Junior/Amateur Owner Jumper Classic, finishing the jump-off round with four faults and a time of 53.637 seconds. Francesca Damasceno of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and her own Watermill Time collected second place with a time of 57.758 seconds and four faults. Zachary Yariv of Wellington, FL, and his own Guintero C were awarded with third place, after accumulating 12 faults in the jump-off and crossing through the timers in 58.75 seconds.

Sabischy Hassler of Wellington, FL, and her own Nepturo HM edged out Taje Warrick of Wellington, FL, and Dersey for first place in the $1,500 M&S Child/Adult Jumper Classic presented by Accuhorsemat with a time of 44.07 seconds. Warrick guided Dersey to second place just a tenth of a second behind the pace, crossing through the timers in 44.169 seconds. Kara Constantakos of Jupiter, FL, and her own Bon Vivant took third place with a time of 44.341 seconds.
