Guenter Seidel Returns to Dressage Competition with Sunday Boy and a Whopping Win

The 2011 Dressage Affaire in Del Mar is overflowing with entries, vendors, parties, and wonderful weather and hospitality, the perfect venue for the return of Guenter Seidel to the show ring after a long and dedicated recovery for the hip fracture sustained in Germany earlier this year. With the dedication of an Olympian athlete who has been a long time member of the US Dressage Team, Seidel’s efforts brought him back into the limelight with Dick and Jane Brown’s KWPN Sunday Boy in the Prix St Georges Open Class, topping the class with a 74.474. As Seidel warmed up wearing a helmet up until he entered the arena, a crowd of friends and fans gathered to watch precision and near perfection in action. Results for the Drssage Affaire are posted on devonwoodscores.com {yoogallery src=[/images/stories/2011/california/11da/seidel-sundayboy/]}
