Join the GDCTA, Lisa Seger Insurance, and Shannondale Farm for a weekend of unprecedented education and enlightenment and a rare appearance on the East Coast with Olympian and America's Favorite Dressage Equestrian for 2011, Guenter Seidel. Auditor spots are available and can be purchased at Auditors will be treated to a catered lunch each day with Guenter during the 8am-4pm lesson days. The riders were chosen to represent varied levels of horses and riders capable to achieve FEI. GDCTA auctioned off ‘Saturday Night Dinner Party with Guenter’ at their Awards Gala for 5 special people won by Rick Cohn and Manfred Lewis. GiGi Nutter Riding Vincere
Gigi is a USDF Gold Medalist and has trained numerous horses to FEI and Grand Prix. “Vinny” is a 10 yr NA KWPN gelding by Ferro. He has been trained through the levels by Gigi and finished 11th in HOY 4th level, 1st at Vintage HOY 4th level, and 3rd in Dutch HOY.  He is currently schooling Prix St. Georges/ Int. 1.

Maria Hallet Riding Cobalt
Maria is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist and USDF Freestyle Bronze Bar recipient. She has won multiple State, Regional, and National Championships, Horse of the Year, High Points, and Year End awards through the FEI levels. Cobalt is an imported 10 year old, 16.3 hand, German Oldenburg gelding(World Cup II  / Calletto II) that Maria has trained since he was 5 yrs old. They’ve won multiple FEI high point awards and attained GDCTA open Intermediare Champion 2011.

Ashley Marascalo Riding Hadrian HVH
Ashley is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist and has successfully schooled 2 horses to the Grand Prix Level.  She has achieved numerous awards as a Young Rider in Region 3 and is currently preparing FEI Young Horse candidates. Hadrian is a 2008 17H bay Hanoverian gelding (Hotline x EM Whitney) bred and owned by High Valley Hanoverians. As a foal he placed in the Top 10 of the USDF HOY Breeders Championship.  Ashley and Hadrian are currently preparing for 2012 4 year old FEI Young Horse Competition.  The pair were selected by the USEF National Young Horse Committee for a USEF/Markel Young Horse Training Session which was conducted at Shannondale Farm in Feb.2012.

Phyllis Sumner Riding Don Zamora
Phyllis Sumner is an Adult Amateur currently competing her 8 year old Dutch Warmblood, Don Zamora, at 4th Level and schooling Prix St. Georges.  Phyllis purchased Don as a 6 year old in late 2010.  At the time, he had been shown twice at 1st Level. In 2011, Phyllis was the Dover Medal National Championship. She and Don were the Region 3 Champions at both 2nd and 3rd Levels. They finished the year as the USDF Adult Amateur 3rd Level Champion and the KWPN Adult Amateur 3rd Level Champion.

Kerri Stevens Riding Zidane
Kerri Stevens is an Adult Amateur currently competing 3rd level, schooling 4th with her imported KWPN horse, Zidane by Rousseau. In 2010, they placed 2nd in KWPN 1st level HOY, 8th place 1st level USDF AA rider, and 1st level AA GDCTA Champion. In 2011, Kerri and Zidane placed 10th in USDF ranks for 2nd level AA, GDCTA 2nd level Champion, and numerous AA high point show awards.

Barbi Asplundh Riding Rising Star
Barbi Asplundh was long listed in 1998 and has been a consistent USET competitor. Her horse, Rising Star (Krack C/Donnerhall) is scoring well in the small tour and they won the Intermediate Championship at Global Dressage Show Wellington, FL in March. She works with Lisa Wilcox and Carl Hester. Rising Star and Barbi are schooling Grand Prix with confirmed one tempis and passage and are ready to confirm.  

Julie Shannon Riding Sure Hit
Julie Shannon is the owner-trainer of Shannondale Farm. She is the GDCTA Vice President of Dressage, Education Chair. She has successfully trained several FEI horses and owns and trains her imported Oldenburg stallion, Sure Hit(Sandro Hit/Furioso II) from age 2 to FEI. Her focus is on training and providing educational opportunities for equestrians in our region.

Tami Crawford Riding Roncalli
Tami and Roncalli have been successfully competing in Wellington, FL this winter with scores up to 76% at 4th level. Tami is an established trainer based in Traveler’s Rest, SC and has been on the show scene for many years consistently producing FEI horses and riders. Roncalli is an Oldenburg gelding ( Rubin Royal/Don Gregory) owned and trained by Tami through the levels.
