Treasure Hunt for Children on the 5th and 6th of December!!
This is not the first time that children have been one of the focuses of the Gucci Paris Masters, one of the most prestigious event of the international indoor show jumping calendar. Following the renowned “Style & Competition for AMADE” competition, which raises funds for this charity for the protection and well-being of children across the globe, and its famous pony race, this year the Gucci Paris Masters brings equestrian sport to a wider young audience with a fun-filled interactive treasure hunt.
Organised in conjunction with Cheval Magazine, the treasure hunt will take the form of a police investigation that children from primary schools (Ecole Primaire de Tremblay en France), charities (Pas d’Enfants Sans Vacances, Les Petits Princes and Les Restos du Cœur) and the general public will be invited to solve by following a trail of clues in the Prestige Village. The mission? To find the iconic Gucci Trophy, awarded to the winner of the Gucci Grand Prix, in addition to all the prize money, as both have been stolen. The amateur detectives need to hurry, because if they fail, none of the Gucci Paris Masters competitions will be held and the horses will remain in their boxes!
Here’s how the investigation begins: the prize money, awarded to the winners of the competitions, has been stolen… along with the trophy. In total, a million dollars have gone missing! The thief got away, but in the chase following the robbery, a security guard managed to snatch a piece of paper from his hands. It seems to be instructions for one of the thief’s accomplices to come and pick up the suitcase of money he hid before running away.
Starting with this clue, the children (aged between 6 and 12) will become budding detectives, armed with an investigation pack as they set off on a quest for the precious suitcase containing the stolen goods. Inside, the children will find plenty of treasures.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday 5th December in the afternoon (from 2pm to 6pm) and on Saturday 6th December (from 10am to 6pm) at the press conference area in the Prestige Village / Hall 5b of the Gucci Paris Masters, to take part in an activity that’s full of fun, laughs, surprises and community spirit in the run-up to Christmas.
