Wellington, FL - The Wellington Summer Festival is coming up soon and it is more than just a horse show. Running August 1-3, the USEF A-rated hunter/jumper show will be presented by LaLa Land Productions and Castlewood Farm. In its first year, the Wellington Summer Festival is proud to announce their charity partnership with Kids Cancer Foundation.

Held at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, the Wellington Summer Festival will feature three days of a wide array of hunter and jumper divisions. Throughout the weekend, the show starts at 8 a.m., with schooling available Thursday, July 31, from 1-5 p.m. The Jacobs Family/ Wellington Preservation Coalition Hunter Classic will occur Saturday at approximately 5 p.m. in the Jim Brandon covered arena. On Sunday, there will be a $10,000 Open Stake (1.4m) Jumper class. Jim Brandon's covered arena is now equipped with fantastic, new footing.

In addition to Saturday's Jacob's Family/Wellington Preservation Coalition Hunter Classic, Rick Steed, Reined Cow Horse World Champion and master showman of Horse Show by Appointment, will be on hand to perform. Steed is always a crowd favorite wherever he performs.

Byron is shown with beads from "the Kids Cancer Foundation's legacy bead program which allows patients to collect colorful beads that represent their journey through treatment," said Michelle O'Boyle, RN, CPON and KCF Executive Director.
