Parker, CO - Triple Crown Nutrition was back for week two of the seven week Summer in the Rockies hunter/jumper series to present the Triple Crown Excellence Award, which includes a beautiful tri-colored ribbon, an engraved plate and certificate for a bag of Triple Crown feed.  This weekend, the sassy mare, Southern Phenomenon, and her owner/rider, Gabrielle Thinnes, caught the blue and the eye of our selection committee.

Thinnes made the short jog from Denver, Colorado to compete her seven-year-old Holsteiner mare in the Adult Jumpers. Thinnes only had the mare for a year, but they have made huge strides in the ring, “She has a lot of potential and I was the first person that took her to any shows. By the end of the summer, I hope to be moving her up to the 1.25m,” said Thinnes.

Enjoying the tricky courses designed at The Colorado Horse Park, Thinnes was pleased with her mare’s performance. “I think overall we did really well.  She really tried. The course designer really gave us some good turns and roll back options; so if your horse is good at that, you could really excel,” she said.  Thinnes has also had the pleasure of experiencing Triple Crown feeds before, and knows the quality and standards of the brand that allow the company to present the Excellence Award at shows nationwide.

When it comes to fulfilling performance horses’ nutritional needs during intense competition, there is no substitute for supreme quality feeds. Triple Crown feeds feature revolutionary formulations, premium ingredients and EquiMix® Technology, an innovative blend of advanced supplements, in every bag.

Committed to supporting the dietary needs of horses across disciplines, Triple Crown was the first company to add prebiotics, probiotics, and organic minerals to its feed. Consumers can always rely on a corn free, ‘fixed formula’ recipe with added digestive enzymes that remains the same over time, regardless of rising ingredient costs.
