The Foundation of the Pure Spanish Horse Announces Fall Revision Judge


The Foundation of the Pure Spanish Horse is pleased to announce that our fall revision judge will be Mercedes Gonzalez Cort. She has a long and internationally recognized career as an expert with the Pure Spanish Horse. She is a graduate of the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. She was a master rider with the same organization and has also attended the Spanish Riding School of Vienna, Austria, and been a morphological judge for the Pure Spanish Horse since 1999, appointed by the famous Cría Caballar. She is an expert in equestrian education with the University of Madrid and is a test evaluator with the Ministry of Agriculture Equine Improvement Program for Young Horses. Mercedes is considered an expert in almost every field of equine study and has earned her judge's credentials in the following areas: high school, doma Vaquera, dressage, and vaulting. she is a consummate equestrian and has written a popular book about Spanish riding, Monta Española, Normas y Manejos.
