Format Of Global Dressage Forum Uncertain Due to Sale of Totilas


The tenth annual Dressage Global Forum at Academy Bartels in Hooge Mierde, the Netherlands is underway. In addition to an all important ‘stewarding in practice’ agenda, the clinic with Edward Gal and Totilas which was planned to begin on October 26. “Many things are still uncertain regarding the sale of Edward Gal’s horse Moorlands Totilas to Paul Schockemöhle." reports DressageDirect.com.

Today the tenth edition of the Global Dressage Forum at Academy Bartels in Hooge Mierde, the Netherlands has started. One of the important items of the 10th Global Dressage Forum, is ‘stewarding in practice’. Under supervision of FEI Chief Steward Mr. Jacques van Daele a session on the do’s and don’t’s of the warming up will be organised, with the cooperation of a great number of riders. Also, the FEI will participate in the program, through the involvement of dressage director Trond Asmyr and Frank Kemperman, chairman of the dressage committee. German top trainer and assistant of the national coach Jonny Hilberath will give practical demonstrations.

During working group shifts several specialists will present items such as: flexchair-horserider-training by Mrs Ada Wouters, veterinary update by FEI veterinary specialist Mr Graeme Cooke, and Rob Renirie about horseshoes.
