FEI International Show Jumping Competition – World Cup Qualifier


After last week´s FEI Worl Cup Dressage Qualifier last week, this week FEI International Show Jumping Competition – World Cup Qualifier takes place in Lipica. There will be 163 competitors from 11 countries. Not only the competition is a World Cup Qualifier, it is also a Qualifier for European Championship that will take place in French Jardy.

In Bronze Tour in a competition of 19, Hungarian Gyula Szuhai on Lemoncello with a result of 55.06 sec was the winner, Italian Michela Bianchi on Le Kid Du Pas with 57.56 sec second and Slovenian Katarina Jordan on Cassiopaia 59.05 sec third, all three of them without penalties.

In a competition of 41 in Young Horses Tour again Hungarian Gyula Szuhai, this time on Dr Oklund, with 27.77sec was first, Slovenian Tomaž Laufer on Lintea Tequila with 27.95 sec second and Hungarian Balazs Horvath on PM Jollywood with 28.88 sec third, all three with zero penalties.


In Silver Tour in a competition of 46, the best three, all with zero penalties, were: Italian Luisa Bonatti on Viona de Wijnendale with 65.25 sec, another Italian Virginia Argenton on Lolli Popp with 66.88 and Patrick Nisbett on  Quick Caporal Z with 68.21 sec from Bermuda.

In Gold Tour there were 43 competitors, the firs three, all without panalties, were: German Joerne Sprehe on Kick like bum with 63.05 sec, Hungarian Balazs Horvath on Corini, 63.39 sec and Fidel Vogt from Lichtenstein on Unpredictable with 65.43 sec. They will be seen again on finals that will take place on Sunday.
