European Championships Ponies - Team Gold for Germany and Historic Individual Gold for Phoebe Peters

This weekend were the European Championships for ponies in Arezzo, Italy. As expected the German team won the team-gold medal and the British rider Phoebe Peters won the individual titles. Germany took the team title for the nation's 23rd victory in the history of the European Championships. It was the third title in a row. In the cast Nadine Krause with Danilo, Sophie Kampmann with Voyager, Semmieke Rothenberger with Deinhard B, and Hannah Cichos with Equistricons Lord Champion brought the four German pony riders in the team ranking 2013 gold again, 225,795%. Behind them on the silver medal followed the Dutch team with 221.513 percent. The English team took the Bronze medal (219,667 Prozent).

Great Britain's Phoebe Peters on SL Lucci caputerd the Individual Titels. The 14-year-old Phoebe and her Danish-born German Riding Pony scored 84.00% for the gold in the Freestyle Sunday after posting a personal best of 79.049% in the Individual Saturday. The score beat the world record of 83.917% set by Semmieke Rothenberger last year. The first ever individual championship medals for Great Britain. Hollands top combination Lisanne Zoutendijk and Champ of Class won silver in the Freestyle with 80.775% after taking the bronze in the Individual on 77.317% on Saturday. Semmieke Rothenberger with Deinhard B took the Bronze in the Freestyle, 80.625% after posting 78.463% for Saturday's Individual silver.
