Euro-Tour: First Stop Amsterdam

You are invited to join us daily as we begin our travels for the next month through Germany, The Netherlands, and Belgium covering Aachen, The European Championships, and Bad Honnef Dressage. In between we will be horse hunting and visiting some well known riders at home.

Our first stop, Amsterdam where we fly direct from Orlando, Florida on Martin Air "The Other Dutch Airline". We discovered The Memphis Hotel on the edge of the art district, a brisk walk to JJ's favorite hangout The Rejksmuseum, where a good dose of Rembrandt (the artist not the horse) puts us in the creative mood.

Travel to Europe via Amsterdam is more economical than you might think. Car rental for 4 weeks is under $800 (Alamo), The Memphis Hotel around $80. While better bargains can be found, a direct flight for $650 round trip on Martin Air is less than the cost to many American cities. So if you haven't bookmarked DressageDaily or better yet made us your homepage on the internet, pack your virtual bags and come along!
