Eurodressage.com has reported that Blue Hors stud has appointed Edward Gal and Lars Petersen as new riders for their Grand Prix horses. In September 2011 Blue Hors suddenly fired their head rider Sune Hansen after disappointing results in Rotterdam. The Danish monopoly stud has now decided to move forward with Gal and Petersen. Blue Hors Romanov will go to Gal in The Netherlands while Gredstedgards Casmir will move to Wellington, Florida, to be campaigned by Blue Hors' former head rider Lars Petersen. Blue Hors' manager Esben Möller made the unusual decision to assign a foreign rider for one of his stallions, as the Danish stud has always promoted and supported Danish riders in the past.
