Elite Stallion Buddenbrock has landed in the United States and is currently in quarantine. American Trakehner Association member Joe Pimentel of Aqua Farms in Panama City, Florida is the new owner and the horse is expected to be available to breeders in 2012 later this spring. Mr. Pimentel expressed appreciation and thanks to Hubertus Poll of Gestüt Hörem in Germany for giving North American breeders the opportunity to utilize Buddenbrock in their future breeding programs.  Buddenbrock was raised, trained and prior to his importation, stood his entire breeding career at the Poll family’s Gestüt Hörem.

E.H. Buddenbrock by E.H. Sixtus, out of the Elite mare Ballerina XXV by Diamant, was named 2010 Trakehner Stallion of the Year by the Trakehner Verband. Under German Andreas Dibowski, Buddenbrock qualified for the Bundeschampionat Finals in eventing in 1999. From his first crop of foals came Elite Stallion Connery and the 2000 Trakehner Hengstkörung Champion E.H. King Arthur TSF, who competes at the international Grand Prix level in dressage under Petra Wilm, President of the Trakehner Verband. In 2003 he also sired the Trakehner Hengstkörung champion E.H. In Flagranti.

Buddenbrock is the sire of 10 Trakehner Verband approved sons and has a large number of offspring competing at international level in both eventing and dressage.
