Dvorak and Flettrich Win Opening Classes at 2003 Dressage at Devon

2003 Dressage at Devon kicked off in wonderful autumn weather with a clear blue sky and mild temperature. Although the scores in the opening classes were not remarkably high, the riders produced some very decent tests.

It was Canadian Tom Dvorak who won the CDN Prix St Georges group A. Riding the delightful Hanoverian mare West Side Lady (by Wesley out of La Traviata). The pair scored 64.917% which was enough to take the lead over Bent Jensen of his massive Colombo. West Side Lady is owned by Susan Platz, Elora, Canada.

The CDN Prix St Georges group B was led by Iron Spring Farm's Todd Flettrich aboard Notorious.
