With Nicho Meredith as master of ceremonies, this year’s fundraiser offers exciting products and services donated by members of our equestrian community, as well as the opportunity to bid on celebrity and sports memorabilia. There will be food and libation, generously underwritten by Dr. Cetty Weiss, Robert Ross, and Kim Boyer of Hampton Green Farm. Admission is free, but we will have the EAF piggy bank at the food line for donations. Even if you are not planning to bid, please consider contributing to this cause large or small, we need you help this year more than ever! Let’s show EAF what the Dressage world can do when it comes to helping their own, and you are getting great stuff too!
Before you make plans to ship north with Elite Horse Transportation, import a horse with HFR International Transport, order a Trilogy saddle, or buy products from popular companies, Back on Track, Thin Line, and Equisano Mushroom Products, be sure to review our list of donations by the people in our industry who share our passion for Dressage. And there is so much more! A breeding to the world famous Lingh, donated by Karin Offield, one month at Tuny Page’s Stillpoint Farm in Wellington, Dressage Tickets and Hotel for the 2010 Alltech/FEI World Equestrian Games, a case of the Dr. Marvin Hausman’s award winning Quailhurst Pinot Noir, and a set of Radiographs donated by Palm Beach Equine.
We also have selection of signed celebrity and sports memorabilia featuring a signed guitar by Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and one of a kind sports collectables, including the Shadbelly with the USET emblem worn by Robert Dover when he rode for the US team in 1984, 1986, 1988 and 1990.
I would like to thank all those in our community who came forward and said yes to working with our EAF/PB Derby fundraiser in 2010. To the donors of our bid items, thank you. We are all in this together, and your support of EAF is all about people helping horse people. And to our committee, Sheryl Kursar, Cetty Weiss, Janise Gray, Michael Kohl, Marc Ulanowski, Robert Ross, and my ever supportive husband JJ. Hathaway for helping this event to grow.
A special thank you goes to our bidders. There is something for everyone in this auction, from needed services and products we all use, to memorabilia for collectors. Check out our growing list and get ready to bid for a great foundation which really needs our support.
See you on Thursday, after the jog, and let’s party and do something great helping our fellow horse people who need us!
Stay tuned to DressageDaily as we feature each item leading up to our big night.
