Devon, PA — The Dressage at Devon Horse Show has been honored with the United States Equestrian Federation’s (USEF) designation as a USEF Heritage Competition. The Heritage Competition title is the highest honor currently held by any Federation horse show and Dressaage at Devon is the first dressage show to receive this honor. The designation of a USEF Heritage Competition is reserved for competitions that have been in existence for a quarter century or more, promoted and grown the equestrian sport, and made a contribution to the community outside the gates of the horse show by achieving, maintaining, and promoting the equestrian ideals of sportsmanship and competition.
The Dressage at Devon Horse Show, one of the largest CDI-W shows in the US and the largest open breed show in the country, combines world-class international dressage competition and is one of the world’s few complete sport horse breed shows with the family fun of an International Fall Festival.
“We are honored to have received the Heritage Competition title,” said Lori Kaminski, President and CEO of Dressage at Devon. “Dressage at Devon has been a key event in the dressage community since its inception – more than 35 years ago. The show is recognized as a proven supporter of the community over a long time period as well as a supporter/developer of equestrian sports in general. We look forward to continuing to provide competition excellence.”
The 2013 Dressage at Devon show will take place September 24 through September 29, 2013 at the Devon Horse Show in Devon, PA. For more information, please visit http://www.dressageatdevon.org/.
