Wellington, FL - March 12, 2012 - A tribute to Donald V. Little will be held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center on Friday, March 16. Doors of the International Club Tent open at 7 p.m. and the ceremony will start at 7:30 p.m. in the International Arena. The tribute will highlight Don's remarkable life in the equestrian worlds of polo, field hunting, show jumping and thoroughbred racing.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Donald V. Little Tribute. General admission and parking are free.
Don Little was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and spent most of his adult life as a resident of Ipswich, MA. He attended the University of Pennsylvania and was an avid pilot and a U.S. Air Force veteran where he was the youngest aircraft commander in the Strategic Air Command. He was also captain of Myopia Hunt Club Polo for 18 years, past president of the United States Polo Association, current Master of the Foxhounds of the Myopia Hunt Club, and Founder and Chairman of Centennial Farms which raced winners of many stakes races, including the Belmont Stakes in 1993 and the inaugural Breeders Cup Dirt Mile in 2007. His show jumping career included competitions in the North Eastern United States and Florida, Spruce Meadows, Canada, and the Global Champions Tour featuring junior and amateur riders in Europe. Professionally, he was a highly successful broker and investment manager at UBS and its predecessor companies, PaineWebber and Kidder Peabody.

About the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival
The 2012 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival has 12 weeks of top competition running from January 11 through April 1. The FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival is run by Equestrian Sport Productions, LLC and Wellington Equestrian Partners and held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. All 12 shows are "AA" rated and Jumper Rated 6, and more than $6 million in prize money will be awarded.
