Horse enthusiasts and racing fans alike are invited to celebrate World Equestrian Games Day at Churchill Downs on Sunday, Nov. 8. Patrons will have the chance to win general admission tickets, a 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games gift basket, 2010 Games posters, t-shirts and more. This is the second WEG Day at a Kentucky race track. Keeneland celebrated WEG Day during its fall meet on October 18 in Lexington, and Turfway Park in Florence will host a WEG Day on December 11. Gates open to Churchill Downs at 11:30 a.m., with the seventh race of the day named the World Equestrian Games race.

About the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games
The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games are the world championships of eight equestrian disciplines recognized by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein of Jordan is the current president of the FEI. The Games are held every four years and this will be the first occurrence in the United States.
The Games will be broadcast on NBC Sports, which has marked the largest commitment to network coverage of equestrian sport in U.S. television history.
