BURBANK, CA - Catherine Chamberlain's busy morning at the Mid-Winter Dressage CDI paid off with two more blue ribbons. After winning yesterday's Young Rider Team Prix St. Georges Test at the Mid Winter Dressage CDI, the 2014 NAYRC Team, Individual and Freestyle Gold Medalist once again found success with Avesto Van Weltevreden (Dutch gelding [Gribaldi x Tevesta by Krack C] owned by Kimberly Pribble) by earning a winning score of 68.263% in the Young Rider Individual Test over her 2014 NAJYRC Region 7 team mate Cassidy Gallman and her Hanoverian gelding Grand Makana (by Goodman) with 65.053%. Chamberlain then stepped up to the U-25 division for the first time with her former NAYRC partner Verdicci (KWPN gelding [Krack C x Nadine's Monday by Jackson]). Proving they were up to the challenge, the elegant pair earned a winning score of 67.421% over Canada's Monica Houweling with her KWPN mare Rifradin (Gribaldi x Atradin by Formateur) with 66.763%. "It's really tough making the jump to the Under-25 Grand Prix division because it's a lot more difficult, but it's great experience and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity," said Chamberlain. "Verdicci has given me everything and more and I couldn't be more proud of him."
