Custom Saddlery, makers of handcrafted custom-fit dressage, jumping and event saddles, is pleased to announce they are sponsoring dressage rider and trainer Mette Rosencrantz. Based out of Topanga, California, Rosencrantz provides world class dressage training for horses and riders from beginners to the Grand Prix level.“We are thrilled to add Mette to our talented team of sponsored riders,” said Cary Wallace, President and Master Saddle Fitter at Custom Saddlery. “Mette is a wonderful ambassador for the sport of dressage, as well as a talented rider and trainer. She loves Custom Saddles and our partnership is a win-win and we are pleased to welcome her aboard.”

Rosencrantz has been in the United States since 1987 and is originally from Sweden where she had a successful dressage career that included twice being a member of the Swedish National Dressage Team. As the youngest rider ever allowed to enter Strömsholm, Sweden’s prestigious school for instructors, Rosencrantz eventually became Strömsholm’s head dressage instructor.

Based out of Mill Creek, Rosencrantz is a highly sought-after teacher. Her expertise is in great demand across the country, and she is popular at dressage clinics, symposiums and dressage expos. In addition to being a sought-after teacher and clinician, Rosencrantz is also an accomplished rider and won the Grand Prix Invitational at the World Cup in 2007 with Basquewille.

In addition to Rosencrantz, Custom Saddlery endorses a host of dressage superstars including Steffen Peters, Tina Konyot, Heather Blitz, Kathleen Raine, Lauren Sammis, Caroline Roffman, Endel Ots and David Wightman just to name a few. “Custom Saddlery has a great website and I encourage everyone to visit it to learn more about our saddles. On the website, visitors can view each type of saddle we offer, the various customizable options and sizes, read about the warranty, pricing policy and how the saddles were developed,” said Wallace.
