Florida's most popular equestrian magazine Sidelines has its special World Equestrian Games' Issue out and is for sale now. Filled with exclusive Phelps Photos and provided with wonderful text by editor-in-chief Mary Hilton, the current Sidelines issue is one to collect.

Feature article "Dressage History Is Made" looks back on the historical performance the American dressage team made at the 2002 WEG in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.

Mary Hilton wrote: "Though many had predicted that the United States Dressage Team would medal in the fourth World Equestrian Games, and some had even dared to mention Silver, no one had even hinted that the US would actually prove to be the team to beat in every phase, from the early lead Sue Blinks put the US in for the Grand Prix, to the near-win performances of Lisa Wilcox and Debbie McDonald in the Special, to the controversial fourth place finish of McDonald in the Freestyle that denied her a medal – which would have been the first Individual Medal for the United States. But unquestionably, it was the US squad that everyone else had to out-ride, and the scores were pushed into the high 70s for the Grand Prix and the Special, and into the 80s for the Freestyle as horses and riders took the risks to be brilliant – and the US proved once and for all that they are world-class riders with world-class horses, and a force to be reckoned with at the top of the sport."
