AQHA/Bayer Best Remuda Winners to Host Versatility Ranch Horse Competitions

Amarillo, Texas -  Five of the American Quarter Horse Association/Bayer Best Remuda Award winners have joined together to host the Best of the Remudas Versatility Ranch Horse Competition Circuit the last two weekends in September.

Best Remuda winners the 6666 Ranch, Guthrie, Texas (1993 winner); Waggoner Ranch, Vernon, Texas (1994); Stuart Ranch, Caddo, Oklahoma (1995); R.A. Brown Ranch, Throckmorton, Texas (1997); and Pitchfork Land & Cattle Company, Guthrie, Texas (1998) will host the Versatility Ranch Horse competitions at each of their ranch headquarters, sponsored in part by The American Quarter Horse Journal, the official business publication of AQHA.

"The Versatility Ranch Horse competition has received tremendous response since the first event was held in January," said Bill Brewer, AQHA Executive Vice President. "AQHA is excited to have these outstanding ranches support the Versatility Ranch Horse competition by hosting a circuit."

Circuit Schedule:

Saturday, September 21 - Stuart Ranch, Waurika, Oklahoma

Sunday, September 22 - Waggoner Ranch, Vernon, Texas

Friday, September 27 - Pitchfork Ranch, Guthrie, Texas

Saturday, September 28 - R.A. Brown Ranch, Throckmorton, Texas

Sunday, September 29 - 6666 Ranch, Guthrie, Texas

Entry deadline is September 16 and three of the five shows must be entered in order to be eligible for circuit awards.
