The equestrian sport has many faces, tells exciting stories and can be incredibly emotional. There is no harder working group in equestrian sport than the international photographers who cover the sport. Aachen created the Silver Camera Award to honor those that do.

The award ceremony of the “Silver Camera” in the Main Stadium at the World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen, certainly proved that on Saturday evening (July 21st), where the best equestrian photo of the year was selected.

The French photographer Eric Knoll convinced the jury– comprised of Juan Matute Guimón (dressage rider, Spain), Andreas Müller (Executive Director Zeitungsverlag Aachen), Erich Timmermanns (Director Advertising & PR Sparkasse Aachen), the photographer Michael Strauch and the ALRV Chairman Frank Kemperman - with his entry.
