Neumuenster, GER) From Australia and New Zealand, over the USA, Finland and Monaco – it is always an international meeting when the stallions are presented for the first time on the Holstenhallen grounds to start the Trakehner Stallion Market in Neumuenster. This year breeders, riders, clients and equestrian enthusiasts from 18 countries have made their way to northern Germany to celebrate the Trakehner horses for four days. The large group of spectators were closely following the initial presentation of the two-and-a-half-year-old stallions on the triangle path.

The licensing commissioner, Dr. Hans-Peter Karp, was positive following the initial presentation: “We have seen significant stallions. Good types with a lot of presence and good, sometimes spectacular, movement”. Dr. Norbert Camp, the first chairman of the Trakehner Association, was also content with the first day of the event. “We had an outstanding response from the spectators and I’m very happy with this high-quality licencing lot.”

The competition is for three and four-year-old mares, geldings and unlicensed stallions. The eleven competitors proved themselves for the Free-jumping Cup at the free-jumping competitions in Hoerstein and Gordemitz, as well as the central mare registration and presentation locations. Afterwards, the approvals will continue with free-jumping for the young stallions. It will be followed by the presentation of the riding horses, broodmares and foals and the TSF Dressage Chamionship.
