2010 Palm Beach Dressage Derby Underway

Under bright blue skies with chilly temperatures, the 2010 CDI Palm Beach Dressage Derby is underway featuring four arenas of top level competition in American Dressage.  A record entry of twenty seven horses in the Grand Prix for the Special is set to begin in Ring One at 10:30, with the FEI Prix St George Class underway in Ring Two. The weekend kicked off on Thursday with the FEI Veterinary Inspection followed by the Kickoff party, a successful fundraiser for the Equestrian Aid Foundation. While the numbers are being tallied, the bidding was high and lively for the incredible selection of items.

Many people travelled just to attend the fundraiser after seeing it promoted here on DressageDaily. “Thank you to all the donors and bidders, and to our committee, Cetty Weiss, Sheryl Kursar, Janise Gray, Michael Kohl, and Marc Ulanowski, and to our Master of ceremonies Nicho Meredith. In addition to the celebrity items for auction the bidding for the Trilogy Saddle was hot and heavy between Tami Hoag, and Tuny Page who was bidding by phone with Cetty Weiss.
